Packing My Studio

I started backing the studio today, as the realtor is coming Tuesday. (PANIC!) I found my slide printer with two power adapters (YEAH!) and lots of other cool stuff the room had accumulated over the last 4 years since I moved my stuff up here. I have so much shit! Dang. Trying very hard to pack by interest: fabric, stamping, jewelry, etc but a lot of it over laps for me. I have no idea what kind of space(s) I'l be moving into, so I want to be flexible with the boxes.

Dream house: air conditioning, 2 car garage, studio space for both my husband & I, shop space, and a place where he can have massage clients. Cat windows, appliances included. Vinyl sided, newish roof and such. I'm tired of fixin' up!

Got a job last August. A great job where I travel, design and organize. Heaven.
Why can't I add a title to this blog? Interesting...
I'm currently packing my stuff to move, taking polaroid pictures to do emulsion prints with (see my new id pic) and workin'. Been feeling the compulsion to journal again, so I'll add more here.

Am I supposed to be doing something? I have this feeling of like I am forgetting something...and I go through EVERYTHING in my head over and over and nothing...

Free as the Wind Blows

That storm hit and I'm outta there...now unemployed. Freedom and fear. Over fifteen resumes out there now for a bunch of weird jobs and normal graphic/illustrator posistions and 2 agencies have called me. I have an interview with a place near Lansing on Thursday. I file for unemployment for the first time tomorrow at 2Pm. Hopefully it will go through or I'm going to have to take anything for work, like bagging groceries. I've done it before, but I just want to stay true to my skills and passion.
Time will tell...its up to the angels now.
